Yes there you have them. Officially the weirdest kanji ever.
Yes they are both real kanji. Together they read "outotsu" and mean uneven. The first one by itself means "concave, the second one means "prominance/projection"
This kind of....throws my whole kanji world into chaos o.o

but as far as area in the shapes are concerned, wouldn't they be even? It's like you could fit one shape in another and get a rectangle. *kanji illiterate*

Lol. you should at least know that you aren't suppoed to read kanji upside down and stuck together!
